Alex surprised Shirley with proposing on a hike in Cuyahoga National Park, just days before graduating medical school together.

Fun fact: Shirley and Alex's shared bucket list item is to travel to all the national parks together! We met in a national park on a medical school trip!

One of the biggest surprises of the proposal was having 3 of their close friends travel down to Cuyahoga to take these incredible photos of the event!
