Our story didn't begin the way most stories do. We were two people walking the same corridors in high school, aware of each other, yet strangers in every meaningful sence. Years passed, and life unfolded in its own way. However in February 2022, there was a shift. We met again, but not as distant acquaintances, but as two people ready to see each other. What once went unspoken became something undeniable. By May of 2022, we took our first official chance on us. Our journey hasn’t been without challenges. Love as we've learned isn’t just about the easy moments, but the hard ones too. Between the heartbreak of Alex's mom and Shamone's surgery, things became strained. But rather than pulling apart, it revealed a stronger love, strength and patience in the relatonship. We learned how to lean on each other, hold space for pain and choose each other in the midst of it all. In July 2025, we made a promise to each other not just on happiness, but resilence, fate and unwavering commitment.
