Once upon a time, a girl named Shaley swiped right on a hunk named Alex. After a few days of messaging back and forth, the two decided to meet for coffee at Starbucks. The date lasted a few hours, but to Alex and Shaley, it felt like it passed in a flash. They were excited to see each other again, and started to meet once a week, and then twice a week, for the next two months.
As their love became more and more infectious, so did coronavirus! When March 2020 approached, Alex and Shaley had a choice to make-- they could distance and attempt to date virtually, or they could lockdown together. The chose the latter, and they spent entirely too much money on meal delivery services (translation: supporting local businesses!!!).
Alex and Shaley moved in to their home in July. Their dog and literal child, Bowie loves the fenced-in backyard. Alex's favorite memory in the house: Summer vacation, sitting on the deck with Shaley and Bowie, listening to Watermelon Sugar. Shaley's favorite memory in the house: Telling Alex she loves him for the first time Bowie's favorite memory in the house: Getting his first Arby's double roast beef sandwich all to himself and being unable to move afterwards.
Alex took Shaley to the waterfall in Olmsted Falls, where he got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. Her response? "Of course, of course, of course!"
