Our wedding's dress code is beach formal. For ladies, this includes cocktail dresses and long dresses. For men, this includes button-down shirts, dress pants and tie optional. Think light, florals, and bright colors! However we do ask that you stay away from jeans, tanks and t-shirts. Because of the heat, lightweight fabrics such as linen are a perfect fit for the occasion. The more colors, the better!! If you have any questions, feel free to text Sarah or Alex Here is a Pinterest board with some inspiration: https://pin.it/6vH9oAmJC
White! (Yes you read that right!) please wear all white if possible (guys I get it you might not have white shirts/pants and that’s okay, just make sure your shirt is white!)
Yes feel free to wear white at any point EXCEPT to the wedding ceremony and reception.
YES! From the moment you arrive at the resort, your food, drink, and all activities (except excursions or spa services) are included. We recommend bringing some cash for tips (no need to exchange to Pesos as the resort accepts US Dollars.)
The minimum required stay is 3 nights -- we recommend flying in on Tuesday, April 8th, and leaving on Saturday, April 12th - if you are staying this length of time (but of course you are welcome to adjust this however makes sense for you!) If you'd like to stay longer than 4 nights, we would love to have you (and we hope you do! After all, this is your vacation, too)
On days where there are no wedding events, please feel free to explore and do things on your own as you like. I'm sure we'll see you by the pool bar or lounging on the beach!
Absolutely! There are so many excursions to choose from, either booked directly by the hotel or from various websites online -- Brianna has highlighted some excursions on our booking website as well, so please don't hesitate to reach out to her if you have any questions or need recommendations!
The weather will be nice and warm! The temperature in Riviera Maya ranges from a low of 72°F and a high of 90°F in April!
YES, all international travelers are required to have a passport. Please double check the expiration date on it! Your passport should not expire within 6 months AFTER travel! Even though your passport may be valid, the airline can deny you boarding if your passport expires within 6 months AFTER travel. Do not risk it, renew if you are due!
Though not required, we recommend making dinner reservations at least two weeks BEFORE you arrive, in order to make sure you get your desired time and restaurant! You can make reservations through the Unico app, 30 days prior to your arrival. You can also make reservations via email at prearrivalhost@unicohotelrm.com. *they take walk-ins and reservations while on the resort - booking ahead ensures larger groups can eat together*
Our sincerest hope is that no one feels guilty, as you must make the best decision for your family, prior obligations, and your budget. You will be met with total understanding and love from both of us. Please let us know individually if you are unable to attend! We ask that you RSVP no later than December 1st 2024.
- Download the app before you go! (Unico 2087 in the App store) It will make your trip much smoother. In the app you can check out the daily activity schedules on the property, make dinner reservations, order room service and much more! - Download WhatsApp. This is how you will be able to communicate with your host while at the resort. Your host will also be able to assist you with reservations and any questions regarding the resort. - Don't forget to bring sunscreen and any over-the-counter meds you may need! These are available at the resort, but can be pricey. - Don't forget your passport!! - Although not required, all servers and resort staff appreciate tips. Small bills are best whether it be Pesos or USD. ($1, $5, $10 for tipping) - Pro Tip - bring an insulated tumbler/cup to keep your drinks cool while lounging in the sun. The bartenders will make your drink in your cup if you ask! - The resort provides pool/beach towel. No need to bring your own! - Check out the Things to Do tab on our site for info on the resort's experiences and excursions!
