We are respectfully requesting no children during our big day. While we would absolutely love to see all of our favorite tiny friends, we are sure you can understand that we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception adult-only events as specified on your invitation. We hope you use this as an opportunity to enjoy a night out celebrating with us and make great use of the open bar!
We kindly ask that guests stick to a range of cocktail to semi-formal wedding attire. Please no jeans, hats, or t-shirts. Outfits can range from suits, sports coats with dress pants, and tuxedos for the gentlemen and formal jumpsuits, cocktail, or floor length dresses for the ladies. Our bridesmaids are wearing light blue stain dresses, and our groomsmen are wearing navy suits. Please no shades of white.
Our venue requests that guests arrive between 4:00 and 4:15 pm, as our ceremony will start promptly at 4:30. We appreciate your punctuality! If you happen to miss our ceremony, no worries - the staff will escort you to an area where you can relax while we say our vows, and you'll be able to join back in for cocktail hour and the reception.
If your guest name is listed on your invite and when you RSVP, then yes! For example, your envelope will be addressed as "X and Guest", "The X Family", or "Mr. and Mrs. X". If you are confused at the time of RSVP'ing, when you type in your name, you will see if you have a plus one. We hope you understand that we are keeping the wedding as an intimate event with close family and friends who we know and love, and that our guest list is limited to only those included on the invitation.
If you choose to drive, Cherry Creek utilizes a valet service for their parking lot at NO cost to our guests. Further, while we are so excited to party with everyone, we are also strongly against drinking and driving. Cherry Creek is gracious enough to have a "no-tow" policy and will not tow or ticket any vehicles left behind the night of the wedding, so we encourage our guests to find alternate transportation (Uber/Lyft) or take the Cambria shuttle back to the hotel when the evening has concluded.
Weather permitting, we will have an outdoor ceremony and outdoor cocktail hour with an indoor reception. If need be, we will move all festivities indoors. Our coordinator will point guests in the right direction upon arrival on the day of.
Yes! Following the ceremony there will be a cocktail hour with passed appetizers and drinks. There will be a formal plated dinner to follow, along with an open bar for most of the evening. We will not be serving cake, but rather hosting a dessert table and late night snack for our guests to enjoy. If you have a food allergy, please make note of it when you RSVP.
We have a definitive date of May 11th to submit our final guest count to multiple vendors. If you happen to miss the RSVP deadline you will be marked as "Not Attending". We appreciate your understanding!
Before the week of the wedding, feel free to reach out to Sara if you have questions. In the days leading up we are sure you can understand that we will be incredibly busy. We ask that you please contact our coordinator Lauren Long, who can be reached by calling the venue (Cherry Creek Golf Club) directly, or the Mother of the Bride, Kelly, if you have any questions the week of.
