My Soul Sister
Mads, Looking back I am always so thrilled we met freshman year because then we had 4 whole years of being inseparable. No matter what I am doing, or what kind of mood I am in, I could always look to you. Being on opposite ends of the country certainly is hard but I know I still have you in my corner even then. I would be absolutely lost without you (who in the world would I dance in the kitchen with??). And yes...there will be Cheez-its LITB
My Forever Friend
Zoella, 12 years fly when you have as much fun as we do. I wasn't at the time, but looking back I am so glad you inserted yourself into all of my conversations in 9th-grade history class. Like most high school friends, it would've been so easy to drift apart from one another but we never did. Our bond grew through Adele, wine, dessert, Spongebob, pool days, and a whole lotta Jesus. It would not be a wedding of mine without you right beside me. Honored to know you and call you my Maid of Honor.
Best Man
I met Todd at a volleyball tournament in 2008. We took a trip to grab some food, and if you didn’t know any better you would think we had known each other our whole lives. That is the kind of warmth and energy I got from Todd on day one, and I could feel it would turn into something special. From going to the gym, interrupting presidential debates, and many late-night adventures and gaming sessions I was able to grow close with Todd and for that, I am very thankful. He is the kind of guy that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it unless it is a Naval Academy sweatshirt, then he will hang on to it for 7 years first. I consider myself very lucky to have you stand beside me on my wedding day.
Groomsman
My first encounter with Tyler was in Environmental Science class in high school. Our teacher was in the middle of a lesson, and I see Tyler raise both of his hands in the air and just start moving them in circles. Our teacher asked what he was doing, and his response was “Oh, nothing”. I am not sure why but that cracked me up. Over the following years we became closer friends with Todd being our common denominator. I love Tyler because there is never a dull moment with him. He always makes sure everyone around him is having a good time. Over the year we lived together in Falls Church we bonded over being Kansas boys, our shared lower back pains, panfrying pizza with chocolate syrup, and our affinity for hand-me-down plaid shorts. I am so excited to have you with me on my big day.
