Nope! She likes feminism and hates paperwork. Next question.
You can arrive Friday night, and join us for welcome drinks at the Groton Inn, or Saturday -- as long as you plan to arrive at the Barn at 5 pm promptly, it's a choose-your-own-adventure!
Folks from Boston area - it's drivable or reachable by commuter rail! To consider the timing and costs, please see: https://www.rome2rio.com/s/Boston/Groton-MA-USA Folks from NYC - Driving is easiest, but if you can't, consider Amtrak or flying to Logan (or other smaller closer airports), followed by an Uber, a rental car/getting a ride, or commuter rail from Boston. National/International guests - fly into Logan airport, and consider an Uber, rental car, or commuter rail to Groton.
Great question. The ceremony/reception will be cocktail attire. Please be comfortable and prepare to dance. For those joining the the welcome happy hour - we will be mildly dressed up, but come as you are comfortable, since travel is hard and we empathize! The brunch at the Groton Inn - if you're wearing clothes, you're golden. PJ's welcome for those staying onsite who attended the after party, and travel athleisure happily accepted.
GREAT question. We do not yet have a joint account, so we thank you for your generosity, and urge you to address checks to either Alexander Bargar OR Sandra Thomas, but not both, because banks are still pretty into patriarchy.
It's New England spring - who knows? We've opted for an indoor ceremony, which will be comfortably heated.
We love your children, both fur and human! That said, our ceremony and reception is not child-friendly. Our youngest attendee will likely be 27. :)
Nope! The wedding is as Indian as the bride herself. We will be lightly traversing into Jewish tradition, by breaking the glass and celebrating with the Hora, but otherwise, this is a largely agnostic affair that will be officiated by our friend, Clark!
