A room block has been reserved at Cabo Azul. We selected Cabo Azul because it stands out in the area for having both wonderful accommodations and reasonable rates for its hotel class. We recommend staying there for ease (wedding day shuttles will pick up and drop off here) and for the opportunity to get to know other members of our family and friends outside of the official events. This resort offers a variety of room options, the majority of which have full kitchens. It is approximately 15 mins from the airport and 6 mins from downtown San Jose del Cabo. We're looking forward to getting many of our favorite people together! Airport Transportation

Grocery Store: La Comer (Cascada)

Large grocery store with food, alcohol (beer, wine, liquor), and travel merchandise. 4 minute drive or a 15 minute walk from Cabo Azul hotel. All suites at Cabo Azul include a full kitchen (refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, oven) and the junior suites include a kitchenette with a mini-fridge.

GROCERY DELIVERY

There are several local services that provide grocery delivery. A few that we recommend are Prickly Pear and Cabo Grocery Girls. We have not tried either of these ourselves but have heard great things from friends.

Rental Cars

We typically do not rent cars while traveling to Cabo. The hotels can help coordinate transportation or call cabs for you. Uber is also available. If you do choose to rent a car, of course we recommend Avis! If you are renting we also recommend bringing cash for the airport tolls.

Traveling to Mexico

• You will need a passport that is valid throughout the entirety of your stay in Mexico. Mexico does not require that your passport has 6 months of validity from travel dates. • You will need to complete the immigration form that is handed out on the flight, remember to pack a pen! Bring this form with you through customs. • We recommend organizing airport transportation before your arrival to Mexico. For your convenience, we've coordinated a service through Impala transportation, please visit the link above to schedule. If you prefer to organize your own service, please feel free! • After exiting through baggage claim and customs, there will be a swarm of people trying to sell you vacation packages and offering transportation. Just keep walking and head outside. Check in with Impala transportation (or your scheduled service) once outside. • Depending on your servicers, you may need to contact your bank and wireless carrier before leaving the states. • Credit cards are accepted most places (sometimes American Express is not). • We recommend bringing cash for cabs, tips, and local shops. Most cab drivers will only accept cash. You can use USD or pesos (pesos is not required). • In general we recommend that you don't drink the tap water. All hotels serve bottled water and we recommend stocking up in your room. Out of an abundance of caution, many travelers use bottled water when brushing teeth.
