Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do! But we want our wedding to be your night off and would prefer adults only please.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

The Bride & Groom, Our Families, & Wedding Party will be staying at Avon Old Farms Hotel where we would love for you to join us. Other nearby hotel options include The Simsbury Inn, The Simsbury 1820 House, and Residence Inn by Marriot Hartford Avon.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Of course! Please let us know and our venue will be happy to accommodate. A vegetarian meal option will be available upon request.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire please. We recommend a nice dress of any length for ladies and a suit and tie for the gents. Formal gowns and tuxes are also welcome, but not required.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, plenty of free parking at both locations.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive to the church, park your car, and be seated by 3:30 PM.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the wedding?

Answer

Round trip shuttle transportation will be provided between Avon Old Farms Hotel, St. Mary's Church, and The Riverview. Please check out our Travel & Accommodations page for all the info you need.
