We have reserved 12 rooms at this hotel in Ponta Delgada. Transportation to the wedding venue will be provided on the day of the event, about 25 min away. Additionally, our welcome event will take place at this hotel on May 21. Rental Car
Although transportation to the wedding venue will be provided, Alex and I highly recommend, getting a rental car. It is truly the best way to see and get around the island. This is the company Alex and I used and had no issues, the pickup booth is right outside of baggage claim. Just make sure u fill the tank up before you return it ;) There is little to no public transportation system. **highly recommend getting a small car if possible, the streets are pretty narrow.
