We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! The dress code for the wedding is Black Tie Optional. For those wearing suits, this includes a dark suit or tuxedo. For those wearing dresses, this includes floor-length gowns, formal cocktail dresses, and formal pantsuits. The ceremony will be outdoors in grass/gravel. Yes, there will be a shuttle service between the Double Tree Hotel and the venue. Shuttle service from the hotel to the venue: At 4:00pm (1600), three shuttles will depart the hotel for the venue. The shuttles will be located at the main door to the Hotel Lobby. Please be ready to board the shuttles no later than 3:50pm (1550). Shuttle service from the venue to the hotel: At 9pm (2100), two shuttles will depart the venue for the hotel, for those who would like to leave early. At 10:10pm (2210), three shuttles will depart the venue for the hotel. Please be ready to board the shuttles by 10:05pm (2205).
Yes. It is a cash bar. There will be an open bar during the cocktail hour. After the cocktail hour, the bar will be CASH only. The bar will not accept debit or credit cards. There is an ATM at the venue. The after party at the Double Tree Hotel will also have a cash bar.
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones and cameras are put away and turned to silent/off during the ceremony. We have hired a wonderful professional photographer, so our guests can sit back and be present alongside us for this special event. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you wish!
Yes, there is an after party. The after party will be at the Double Tree Hotel (Tradeswind Room 1). The after party will commence at 10:00pm (2200) and end by 1:00am (0100). There will be a bar and light snacks provided. Please note that any food or alcohol not provided by the hotel is prohibited in the bar, lounge areas, and after party venue.
Both the ceremony and reception will be held at The Mansion on Turner Hill in Ipswich. The ceremony will be held outdoors, weather permitting. Dinner and dancing will be indoors.
Although we love your kiddos, we regretfully cannot accommodate them due to limited seating at the venue. We would love for the evening to be a night off for the parents! We understand that many of you will be traveling from out of state, so please don't hesitate to let us know if we can provide assistance in finding suitable childcare for the evening.
