We aren't the biggest breakfast eaters but won't pass up Sac's best ham and cheese croissants. If you like spice, they have jalapeno croissants too! They don't have the best coffee but a block away there's a coffee shop called Pachamama. They have wonderful coffee. We will list Pachamama next. Stanley Donuts is only 3 minutes away from our church....did we mention they DEEP FRY their donuts.
Our favorite coffee spot! Alex likes the iced blueberry matcha and Andre gets a chai iced latte. Yes, we know we those aren't coffee options but we do like their coffee. Also 3 minutes away from our church.
A sweet little diner to try in down town. It's a little hard to find parking but you have to get there early! Only 2 minutes away from the church.
Andre's favorite place to eat. He loves their chicken nachos. We had Canelo's 1st birthday here too. This restaurant is close to John and Michelle's home (parents of the bride) in Tahoe park. It is 12 minutes away from the venue.
Alex's favorite restaurant. It's American cuisine with great cocktails and known for making a good burger. It's located down town in Alex's and Andre's neighborhood. It is 15 minutes away from the venue.
Paying ode to Andre and his culture- If you'd like to try some Puerto Rican cuisine, this is a great spot to check out. Plus, Andre's mom, Mara, approves! They have the best outdoor seating due to all the hummingbird feeders in their back patio. We recommend the pastelon, arroz con pollo, and you HAVE to get the pastelitos de guava!
Of course we love Mexican food! This is where we get our burritos. They have a great breakfast burrito. It is 12 minutes away from the venue.
Ok, so this place can make anything to eat and we will DEVOUR it. You will not be disappointed. This is an El Salvadorian owned restaurant. If you want to support the youngest Herrera boys Johnathan Marcelo and Micheal Marcielo and their mother, Hansy Olivares, and her family, who owns this restaurant, please do! They are in Roseville so if you need somewhere to eat lunch or maybe a place to go while you are in town check it out. It's 33-36 minutes from the venue.
Andre and Alex BOTH love this place. This is middle eastern cuisine. We love getting the Habibi plate with a mixture of lamb, beef and chicken, jasmine rice, a salad with a white cucumber sauce on top, pita bread and french fries on top. SO GOOD! It's a food truck down the street from their apartment. There's no seating but you could take it to go and eat out at Riviera east park which is 5 minutes from our venue. We will list the park next. Habibi is 15 minutes away from the venue.
A simple park 5 minutes away from our venue. You can stop here and enjoy your lunch.
