I plan on attending the reception only, is that okay?

Yes!! Since our ceremony will be short and reserved for photos, we recommend meeting at Aracely Cafe.

Is there parking?

Answer

Parking at San Francisco City Hall is located at 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place (Polk Street between McAllister and Grove Streets), though we recommend Ubering if possible. The closest place to park is in the Civic Center Parking Garage, which is located under Civic Center Plaza just across the street from City Hall. https://www.sfmta.com/garages-lots/civic-center-garage There will be unlimited parking at Aracely Cafe.

What should I do in between the events?

Answer

There are a lot of things to do in beautiful San Francisco! Here are some places you can visit that are between SF City Hall and Aracely Cafe: Ferry Building and Embarcadero: The Ferry Building is a hub for gourmet food and local produce. Since this will be a Saturday, it'll be packed and busy for the large farmers market they host weekly. Chinatown: San Francisco has one of the oldest and largest Chinatowns in North America. Try some authentic Chinese food, and check out the unique shops. We love Hang Ah Tea House for the first Dim Sum restaurant in the country North Beach: This neighborhood is famous for its bohemian history and Italian eateries. It's where we currently live, and has our favorite coffee shops in the city. Cafe Grecco is an easy coffee shop to get to, and close to it is Golden Boy's pizza, one of our favorite pizza by the slice locations. All of these, you should be able to plug into Google Maps for directions. You can also email us prior to the date for any further questions.

Located on Treasure Island, off the Bay Bridge that runs from San Francisco to Oakland, Aracely Cafe offers a relaxed, welcoming space which includes a large patio + garden complete with an outdoor fireplace, lounge seating, string lights, and heatlamps.

What is the best way to get to Aracely Cafe?

We recommend splitting an Uber with other wedding-goers or driving to Aracely. Please drive responsibly.
