Once you arrive in Naples or Salerno, there are several ways to reach Positano. You can book a shared car service through travel platforms like Expedia or Booking.com, or arrange a private transfer with Transfeero. If you’re staying near the beach, taking the ferry from Naples is also an option. However, I wouldn’t recommend the ferry if your accommodation is higher up in the village, as you’ll need to walk with your luggage. I’ve highlighted some of my personal favorite hotels in Positano, though there are many other wonderful hotel and Airbnb options to consider. Bookings usually open in November, and it’s best to secure your stay early, as accommodations fill up quickly.
