FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal Attire: We prefer that men wear a suit in any color and women wear a cocktail dress or a nice pantsuit. Please note that the venue does not permit jeans or sneakers.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have reserved a room block at the Amway Grand Plaza, Courtyard Marriott Downtown, and Homewood by Hilton. Please see the "Travel" section of our website for more information regarding the hotel blocks. You are certainly not required to stay at either hotels. The good news is that our reception is located next to several amazing hotels within walking distance.

Question

How should I get there?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at our ceremony location that will start promptly at 1:00pm. There is a parking lot at the bottom of the hill at the front of the church and at the top of the hill at the back of the church. As for our reception, we recommend parking at your hotel and walking to the reception or parking in the parking garage directly across from The McKay Ballroom. Lyft and Uber are always a great option too. If your feel adventurous, rent a lime scooter and wheel around downtown (please note: we are not responsible for any injuries).

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

No, we love your kids but thought you deserved a night off. We hope you will understand our decision to make our wedding children-free.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to a limited amount of space at our venue, we ask that you strictly adhere to the names depicted on the invite that you received.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP for the specific names listed on the invite you received directly on our website by clicking the RSVP tab and following the prompts.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Absolutely!!! The drinks are on us but the hangover is on you.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

No, we will be having an unplugged ceremony. We ask that you respect our church and sacrament by keeping your phone on silent and your cameras tucked away until after the ceremony has concluded. The good news is that we have coordinated an amazing photographer (Kendell) to capture all the best moments to look back on.
