Downtown has a little bit of everything; from restaurants, coffee shops, and entertainment, there's something for everyone! Kansas City's famous Christopher Elbow store can be found here if you're looking for a sweet treat. Alex became a regular at Made in KC cafe (located conveniently one block from her old apartment), and when hunger struck restaurants like Tavernonna, Meshuggah Bagels, and II Lazzarone were some favorites for the couple. The street car provides free transportation from The River Market to The Crown Center. Alex and Jimmy would be happy to give other recommendations!
Alex has been known to refer to The Plaza as her version of Disney. If you're unfamiliar, The Plaza is known for its shopping, restaurants, and unique Spanish-inspired architecture.
