We first met on Thanksgiving Eve in 2019 in Williamsport. I noticed Dominick sitting next to a mutual friend and walked over, saying, “I feel like I know you.” We both smiled—and from that moment, the conversation flowed effortlessly. The next day, he sent me a message asking for my number... and the buffalo chicken dip recipe I couldn't stop talking about the night before. What started as a casual meeting quickly blossomed into something special. In the months that followed, Dominick made trips to Pittsburgh to visit me, and before long, we were inseparable. We spent our days exploring the city, discovering great food, and dancing our nights away in lively bars. It was during those nights that I discovered something unexpected: Dominick could really dance. Over the next six years, we shared so many amazing memories—traveling to new breweries, spontaneous trips to New Orleans/NYC, and making the most of our time together. But distance became a challenge when I moved to California for medical school. We learned quickly that love isn’t measured by miles, and Dominick made countless trips to visit me. Eventually, I moved to New Jersey to finish my education, and Dominick and I continued to make our relationship work despite the distance. Then, on March 29th, 2025, Dominick took me back to our favorite hometown brewery and asked me to marry him. What a year it was for us! I matched into UPMC Williamsport FM residency, we bought a house in town, and now Dominick can stay working at his dream job as a Middle School Guidance counselor. The long distance finally came to an end and we could finally set our roots close to our family and friends. Now, as we plan our wedding, we’re excited to celebrate with the people who’ve supported us through every adventure, every challenge, and every joy. Here’s to the next chapter!
