We met while both working in politics in Ocala, FL in 2014. After numerous coffee runs, many shared laughs at fundraisers and commiserating about campaigning in the Florida heat, we finally had an "official" date and haven't stopped enjoying each others company since! Six years later we have shared adventures together through Jamaican waterfalls, cross country road trips, and lots of afternoons at Disney. We have shared new jobs, moves to new cities, and most recently the purchase of our first home together. We are so excited to start the next chapter of our lives together as husband and wife!

Savannah, GA has always been a special place for us. We have celebrated several anniversaries there, and it’s usually our go to place for a weekend get away. We love to roam the streets, take in the relaxed atmosphere, and enjoy our favorite restaurants. After working for weeks renovating our new home, we decided to take a weekend off to get away and relax. Unbeknownst to me, Austin was hard at work putting together the proposal of my dreams. I was told to be ready to go early Saturday morning, when Austin took us to the beautiful Wormsloe Plantantion. Upon arrival, the Park Ranger informed us they had a photographer there that day for photos if we would like some (of course). The photographer had us do a few poses before Austin got down on one knee and asked me the easiest question ever. I then discovered that Austin had hired the photographer and the Park Ranger was even in on it! We then had a beautiful photoshoot all around Savannah before taking the rest of the day to call our loved ones and eat some good food! It was the best day ever!
