Alex and I first crossed paths on a dating app — our conversations flowed effortlessly. Yet, the instant we met in person, everything changed. We wandered around Opry for hours, sharing who we were, our walk with God, the moments that had shaped us, and the dreams we carried in our hearts. It felt as though we’d known each other a lifetime. Very quickly, Alex became my safe place — the one I wanted to run to with every joy, every worry, every little piece of my day. As time went on, I realized I couldn’t imagine a future without him in it. From laughing through car jam sessions, to plunging into a pool in the middle of winter just for the thrill, to growing closer to God hand in hand, every moment drew us nearer. We began to dream together about what a lifetime might look like — the idea of marriage, building a life side by side, and waking up every day choosing each other. Once we knew in our hearts that we were each other’s forever, there wasn’t much else to consider. Then, on 8.08.25, Alex got down on one knee and completely surprised me. I was certain I’d know the moment it was coming — but he proved me wrong (this time…). With so much love in his eyes, he declared his heart for me and asked me to marry him. It wasn’t just the easiest “yes” of my life — it was the answer to a prayer and my dream come true.
