Alex and Seth met while on a summer-long mission trip to New Jersey in 2018. He dragged Seth on animated adventures all summer and beyond (decoding the Twenty One Pilots alternate-reality game, getting a ton of free Slurpees at 7-Eleven, dangerous rides in the Swaggin' Wagon, and more...).
Lexi Braaten
Maid of Honor
Lexi is Alley's best and longtime friend. They met in 4th grade and had a lot in common right away - endless giggles and fun times shortly followed. Alley's favorite memory of Lexi is when she introduced her to Justin Bieber at her 14th birthday party.
Nolan Nordlund

Seth met Nolan when he was the worship leader at a small Grand Forks church in early 2018. About a year later, Seth was working for Nolan's startup company, where he stayed until the summer of 2020. They also bonded over game nights and the weekly house church/worship night hosted by Nolan and his wife, Alex.

Caitlyn was Alley's freshman year of college roommate. Alley's favorite memory of Caitlyn was when they would take late night McDonald's runs, stay up until 3am watching Netflix, and then still somehow make their 8am classes the next morning.
Christian Forsberg

Christian and Seth met through the Cru worship team freshman year of college, and also worked the same job during the Cru summer mission to New Jersey. After the mission trip they were roommates for two years, and spent far too many nights having deep discussions well into the morning hours.

Alley met Daria through Cru and then eventually in English classes at UND. Alley's favorite memories of Daria include bonding over their love/addiction of coffee, taking cat naps in the library, and sharing a passion for creativity.
Tyler Cullen

Tyler and Seth first grew close on a ski trip to Lutsen, where he instilled in Seth a love of tree trails. They both appreciate the finer things in life (e.g. programming). He is more dedicated to Chick-Fil-A than anyone else in North Dakota and programs his own video games.
Maddie Pillen

Maddie is Alley's best school friend - they spent elementary, middle, and high school together. Alley cherishes all the time spent with Maddie; the long tireless volleyball tournaments, sleepovers at her house with waffles and peanut butter in the morning, and all the times in between.
Martin Eichers

Martin and Seth met in second grade and have been friends ever since. They grew up with a mutual love of video games, board games, Legos, baseball, and everything else young boys enjoy. Seth will never forget the late night adventures blasting Mungo Jerry in the car while "flocking" yards around town with plastic flamingoes.

As another one of Alley and Anna's longest friends, the three of them spend a lot of fun time together. Acapulco Mexican Restaurant is their fav hangout, and many laughs and much salsa consumption has taken place there.

Mark was an older member of Cru when Seth was a freshman and gave him many rides to church before he had a car. Mark introduced Seth to Nolan, and invited Seth and Christian to be his roommates for a year. He's hilarious, and also a genius.

Alley & Hannah met freshman year in college as they took on their dorm hall government together. Since then they've bonded over their love of cats, playing Sims, coffee & traveling!
