We’re tying the knot!

We met at the Westerner club. I was swing dancing like I did every weekend. When the song ended and I was coming off the dance floor, we caught each other’s eyes. We exchanged numbers that night and have been great friends ever since. We started to develop a love for each other and started dating, then started dating exclusively on my birthday, 04.16. We were dating for almost 2 and a half years when he asked me to marry him. The morning of the proposal I could tell he was acting more weird than normal. He made me dress all fancy and took me to a broadway show and then to a fancy dinner at Ruth’s Chris. After dinner, he went home to get our dog, Jack, and told me to stay in my dress. We then went to one of our favorite parks where our photographer friend Jen met us. I knew something was up then! He then took me to a picnic table where he played a video he made of all of our friends telling me why I’m special to them. He told me why I’m special to him, got down on one knee, and asked me to marry him. I said YES!
