When is the RSVP deadline?

I'm coming from out of town, where should I stay?

Answer

Please see the travel page for some hotel recommendations. There are also abundant vacation rentals in the area on VRBO or AirBnB. We recommend staying in the Santa Cruz Boardwalk area as the bulk of the Wedding Party will be staying in that area.

I'm coming from out of town, how long should I plan to stay? Are there any other plans for the weekend?

Answer

We will be hosting a rehearsal dinner for the wedding party on Friday (9/18) and some casual after-wedding events on Sunday (9/20). Santa Cruz has lots to do and we'd love to spend some time with you outside of the wedding itself.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal with a color palette of: shades of blue, eucalyptus, lavender and silver and gold *sparkle*. The ceremony will be outside with (hopefully) gorgeous Indian Summer weather, but come prepared with layers in the event it gets chilly. Layers, sunglasses and sun hats are recommended. The reception will be indoors.

Are children welcome?

Answer

We'd love to have your whole family but we have limited capacity at the venue. For those of you coming from out of town and spending a night (or two, or three!), and bringing your kids, we'd be happy to help coordinate a baby sitter for the ceremony and reception.
