Question

How to get to Giverny From Paris ?

Answer

By car : Giverny is about 1h30 from Paris. Take the A13 motorway toward Rouen/Normandy, exit at Vernon/Giverny, and follow signs to the village. Parking is available near the church and Dîme de Giverny. By public transport : Train: from Gare Saint-Lazare to Vernon-Giverny (~45–55 min, TER or Intercités). From Vernon to Giverny: taxi (10–15 min), seasonal shuttle (spring–autumn, 10–15 min). Staying in Giverny or Vernon allows you to enjoy the village without renting a car.

Question

Where should I stay during the wedding?

Answer

As the reception venue is located in the heart of Giverny, we warmly recommend staying in Giverny or nearby. This allows for a short and effortless journey to the ceremony and reception, without the need to rent a car. Giverny is famous as the home of Claude Monet, and the village is truly enchanting, with picturesque streets, gardens, and charming scenery. For a curated list of recommended hotels, guesthouses, and Airbnb options, please see our Travel section. While we haven’t personally stayed at these properties, they all have good reviews.
