Matron of Honor
Amber and Alex have been best friends since the age of 6. Even though at first, a friendship seemed unlikely. Alex initiated the friendship by giving Amber a piece of chocolate as a gift. Amber immediately took the chocolate and went to give it to their 1st grade teacher (suck up). However, the two still became friends despite this little mishap. There were inseparable through childhood and it was unlikely to see one without the other. This friendship has been through everything and has memories to last a lifetime. I'm sure some of those memories will be shared in a speech at the wedding...
Matron of Honor
Shelby and I first met at the age of 2 years old in our ballet class in Prattville Oklahoma. We instantly became best friends and have remained best friends for 25 years now. This friendship has survived cheer competitions, dance recitals, tumbling classes, countless family vacations, Shelby has always been my go to person when I needed cheering up or a good laugh. Shelby has been by my side through thick and thin and will be here for me supporting me in any endeavor I decide to take on.

Gill and I met in the 6th grade and quickly bonded over our hatred for math, and our love for Oklahoma Sooners (There's only one). This made us besties forever. Gill's friendship has been so incredibly important to me for all these years and out of everyone she is the only one who knows what I am truly like behind closed doors. We have lived in the smallest dorm imaginable together and then again in an apartment in downtown OKC for 3 years. So, if Colby needs any advice on how to live with me, Gill is the expert. Our friendship has always been so harmonious, she loves the edges of brownies, and I love the middle, and we have the same sense of humor. Bet us money and we'll show you how many movies we can quote.
Bridesmaid
Lisa and I met my Sophomore year of college when I was blessed with the best "little" a girl could ask for! We became more like sisters very quickly. Our friendship became even stronger when we both began working for the OU Track and Field team as equipment managers. This job took us all over the US together and we have spent countless hours together folding laundry and packing athletes bags. I can always count on Lisa to be one of the first ones to cheer me up when I need a friend and be there for me no matter the distance between us.
Bridesmaid
Jacey entered my life in the 6th grade and we immediately clicked over our love for Disney! Jacey is the most kind-hearted, selfless, and God-fearing woman. There has never once been a time in my life that Jacey hasn't stood up for me when I was too timid to stand up for myself. She is always there to remind me that I am loved and important. I wouldn't be who I am today without all the years of Jacey's friendship and inspiration.

Where do I begin. Kailey and I met through God's divine intervention. Kailey and I worked at the same elementary school in Bixby, OK for 6 months before we ever worked up the courage to speak to one another. Once Kailey finally initiated the first move by saying, "I hope this isn't weird but I want to be your friend" it was a done deal. 3 months after becoming friends, we went on a life changing trip to Iceland together and spent over a week in God's most beautiful country. We then survived 3 days as hobos in the Chicago airport and then moved into a house together. Kailey is a huge part of the story in Colby and I being introduced to one another and this is something I will never be able to thank her enough for.
House Party
Johnna and I became friends in graduate school in the Fall of 2014. Nothing builds a stronger bond than the stress and anxiety that accompanies graduate school. Johnna has always been such a beautiful soul and such an inspiration to me in all areas of life. One of her greatest influences on me has always been her faith in God and her spiritual life. Johnna has also been the friend who has helped me see the reality in my decisions, the friend who has encouraged and supported me in all endeavors. She has seen me cry, get mad and be the happiest I've ever been. No matter what I brought to her, she was there to help me through it and listen to me talk her ear off. Johnna is truly Jesus' definition of a friend. This made it easy for me to choose her to do a special reading during our ceremony.
