Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is garden party formal. Examples of appropriate clothing would be floor-length or knee-length dresses, dress pants, nice blouses, dress shirts, or suits. Florals are encouraged! All colors, besides white and red for dresses, are appropriate, but if you would like to match with our wedding theme colors, you can wear light blue, navy, or sage green. If you choose to pick out a floral dress or outfit, please do not pick a dress/outfit that has a base color of white with different colored flowers on top. Please avoid sneakers and boots, white/cream/champagne dresses, and silver dresses (as they often photograph white in outdoor lighting), and the color red.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

All named and indicated guests on your invitation are welcome to the wedding. If you have a plus-one for the wedding, it will be indicated specifically on the envelope of your save the date and formal invitation cards, either as "Your Name & Named Guest" or as "Your Name & Guest." If you have children who are invited to the wedding, their names will also be specifically listed. Please do not add additional people onto your RSVP card besides those who have been specifically invited. If your invitation indicates a plus-one, please write down their name and information in the area located on the RSVP card.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

In your formal invitation, you will find an RSVP card and return envelope. Your return envelope has already been addressed and stamped. Please fill out the RSVP card to the best of your ability and send it back in the mail to arrive no later than March 25th, 2025. On your formal invite, it will list all of the invited members of your party; please do not add additional people onto your RSVP card who are not invited to the wedding. Please list the full names of the people who will be attending and the wedding events that they will be going to. If you are not able to attend the wedding, please fill out the RSVP card as such and mail it back to us so that we can get the most accurate count for our vendors. We will not be taking any RSVPs received after the due date; any late RSVPs or missing cards will be seen as an automatic "not attending" response.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome at our wedding, if they are specifically named and indicated on your invitation. We will not be providing babysitting services during the wedding, so if your children are listed on your invitation and will be attending with you, they will be sitting with you during the ceremony and reception.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available in the guest parking lot at the Keswick Vineyards. Both the ceremony and reception are at the same venue.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The pre-ceremony picnic will begin at 3:00 PM. If you choose to attend, there will be wine, non-alcoholic beverages and charcuterie along with picnic baskets for you and your guests or family. We would love to see you there! If you do not choose to come to the pre-ceremony picnic, you can arrive around 4:00 PM to ensure that you are seated in time for the ceremony start time of 4:30 PM. Those who arrive partway through the ceremony or near the end of the ceremony will be asked to wait in the cocktail hour area so as not to interrupt the ceremony in progress. Please do NOT walk down the aisle and find a seat at the ceremony if you are late.

Question

How does seating work?

Answer

The ceremony will be open seating, so sit wherever you please! However, we are requesting that you avoid the first two rows on each side at the ceremony for our immediate family and bridal party. There may be chairs with reserved signs on them for specific guests who have a role in the ceremony. We appreciate you respecting the reserved signs. At the reception, we will have a seating chart set up that you can look at during the cocktail hour. You can sit at any of the chairs at your designated table - there will not be place cards at the tables. For the ease of the evening, we appreciate you sticking to your designated table.

Question

Will there be alcohol and what should I do about driving?

Answer

We will be providing alcoholic beverages throughout the day. We'll be serving wine and non-alcoholic beverages during the pre-ceremony picnic, and then move into full bar service during the cocktail hour and onwards. We will be providing open beer and wine, plus your choice between our two signature drink options, in addition to the non-alcoholic options. There will not be an open liquor bar. If you feel that you are unable to drive yourself or others home at the end of the night, please do not drive home. The venue will allow you to leave your vehicle at the parking lot overnight if you need to. Please pick up your vehicle the next morning by 12:00 PM if you choose to leave it overnight.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We'll be having an unplugged ceremony, and kindly ask that your phones and cameras be put away during the ceremony. We have a great photography team taking photos for us, and would love for everyone to be fully present during the ceremony. You can absolutely take photos during the rest of the event, before the ceremony and after.
