We met in the most romantic place imaginable, the lunch line for Subway. This happened on the first day of our sophomore year of college when I recognized Rane as just the boy who lived next door (literally). There were no sparks flying yet, but it would be one of the fortunate coincidences that brought us together. From there, dates fell through, schedules never matched up and our actual first date was a disaster. It was a miracle we ended up together in the end. From starting as just being neighbors, to friends of friends, to dating, to exes, and back to dating, we are now best friends and soon, finally, husband and wife.
