FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Yesterday. Now! ASAP. Okay seriously... please RSVP by May 7th.

Question

Where the hell am I flying for this shindig?

Answer

Bozeman is your best bet (BZN). From there, it's an hour drive to 320 Guest Ranch.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please try to arrive 10-15 minutes before the ceremony begins (ceremony begins at 4:30pm).

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. Dressy casual for rehearsal. Yes. Montana formal for ceremony (see below). Men A suit or suit jacket with slacks and a button-down or collared shirt is perfect. Ties are optional. Dress shoes, boots, or cowboy boots are all welcome (a cowboy hat won’t look out of place either). Women Formal dresses are encouraged, ideally in earth tones: think greens, blues, and soft/pastel natural shades. Heels are not necessary; flats, dress shoes, or boots/cowboy boots are great for our outdoor/indoor settings.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes. We're registered right here! Please check the "Registry" tab at the top of the page. We're also open to accepting large bags of cash, warm hugs and top-shelf whiskey.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes. Please reach out to either myself, Alexandra, Erin or Laura before May 7th. We'll make sure you are accommodated.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There are parking areas within walking distance of the ceremony area by the front desk/restaurant, but most folks will likely walk from their respective cabins.

Question

I've never stayed at high altitude before. What do I need to know?

Answer

320 Guest Ranch hovers around 6,000-6,300 feet situated in Gallatin Canyon in the Northern Rockies. This means the air is a bit thinner and thus, less oxygen available. Expect to breathe deeper or faster at times. These are all normal reactions! What helps? Stay well hydrated, take it a little slower than usual when you first arrive, and give your body time to adjust. The sun is also stronger at altitude, so sunscreen, hats, and layers are your friends. Most people feel completely normal after a short adjustment period—just listen to your body and enjoy the fresh mountain air!

Question

What kind of weather should I expect?

Answer

Mid-July is one of the most beautiful times of year. Days are typically sunny and mild, with average daytime temperatures in the low–mid 70s°F, while evenings can cool off into the 40s–50s°F once the sun sets. Because we’ll be celebrating outdoors at 320 Guest Ranch in Gallatin Canyon, we recommend bringing layers—a light jacket, shawl, or sweater will come in handy once the evening cools down. July is typically one of the drier and sunniest months in the area. In true Montana fashion, the weather can shift quickly, so the best strategy is layers, sunglasses, and a sense of adventure!

Question

Are there TVs in the rooms?

Answer

All cabins are television-free (yes, you read that right). This encourages everyone to be present for celebrations and enjoy the nature, together!

Question

How is cell service in the mountains?

Answer

Cell service can be spotty in the valley depending on your carrier, but there is free WIFI available in all cabins, and in many places on-site at 320 Guest Ranch.
