Alex and Rachel met at a party their Junior year at Eastern Illinois University. You will probably hear this story many times not because it's how they met....but because Rachel has no recollection of it. Yup. She was drunk :) Rachel wooed Alex with her drunk humor and the rest is history.

Alex planned a day in Chicago to celebrate Valentine's day with Rachel. They had plans to go to the top of the Sears Tower to the Sky Deck. Alex really wanted to get to the top by sunset, Rachel wasn't that concerned about the time. After 3 hours of waiting in lines and elevators, they finally reached the Sky Deck. Alex asked Rachel to close her eyes and step in. At 1,450 feet in the air, Alex asked Rachel to be his forever and she said yes.
