We have known each other since middle school. Our small schools played sports together and we occasionally hung out with the same friend group. We went to prom together in 2014 and that's when Bryce started breaking out of the friend zone! It wasn't until we were both attending college in River Falls, WI (Allie at CVTC and Bryce at UWRF) that our relationship really became serious. The rest is history!
Bryce told me we had to go to the farm and grab one of his trail cameras. I told him, "Go ahead! I don't want to go. You have fun! I'll see you in an hour!" My sister, Emma (who was in on the proposal) convinced me she also wanted to go spend some time at the farm. So, we headed to the farm. When we got there, I soon realized that this trail camera was located at the top of the steepest hill on the farm. "Seriously, Bryce! You are going to make us hike all the way up there". Let me tell you, I was not a happy camper on the way up! When we got to the top of hill the view was breath taking. Over looking Grandpa Mike's farm.....Bryce's favorite place on Earth....he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. My response? "OF COURSE I WILL!" Believe it or not, I was in a much better mood on the way down the hill! :)
We are so excited to get married! Our families and friends are our biggest blessings. We couldn't think of a better way to start our life together than celebrating with all of you! In light of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we wanted to let you know that the health and safety of our wedding guests is our top priority. We are going to continue with the wedding as planned, but we are still figuring things out, We will keep you posted about any updates or changes. We want to remind our guests that if they are feeling sick, please do not attend our wedding. We also completely understand if you do not feel comfortable attending. Thank you all for being willing to help us celebrate as safely as possible. We are very aware that last year was full of so much loss and heartache. We are looking forward to our wedding day which will be full of light, hope, joy, laughter, and love. Hugs, Allie & Bryce
