How We Met

Alex’s Perspective

The amount of times we ran into each other before we officially met will always be so funny to me - I like to think the universe kept putting us together for a reason. As our circles of friends kept bringing us together, Zach was a sophomore and I was a junior, so obviously I tried to act like a cool, older, mysterious girl around this charismatic, funny, and cute boy...even though SOME of our friends would try and tease me for going for the new 'pledge' ....I'll never regret making the first move! The thing I first noticed is he made me laugh a lot, and easily. While we had been around each other a few times, including a really fun night dancing together at a social (probably one of the few times I've seen Zach's exquisite dance moves) I think the first time we really got to hang out and get to know each other better, we were at a friend's house (the OG Linden house!) and we were playing a game that involved spinning a bat around. We were both so clumsy that we each fell down the hill like idiots. As we were giggling and laughing trying to stand up, I decided right then and there that was enough for me to ask him to my semi formal because I knew I would always be able to laugh with him wherever we went. I'm happy to say we've been idiots ever since, and I can't wait to keep laughing & smiling alongside my future husband for the rest of our lives

How We Met

Zach’s Perspective

When I met Alex, I was about halfway through my Sophomore year at Towson. It was the last week of February in 2014. I had recently stopped playing sports at Towson, and was looking to potentially join a fraternity. I was, admittedly, hesitant to join a fraternity because of my pre-disposed position against them, but they had introduced me to this amazingly cute, black-haired girl. They brought me to this social event with a sorority, and there I had met this other girl who kindly introduced me to her friend, Alex. She had these stunning blue eyes that somehow turned green on regular-basis. After a few games of beer pong and getting to know each other - she, believe it or not, was the one that actually pursued me. I know - the irony is impeccable for anyone that knows Alex and I. Anyways - we have been *almost* inseparable ever since. I have never met someone as loving, kind, genuine, and beautiful as my soon-to-be wife. Needless to say, I have my fraternity to thank for meeting this amazing woman, and if anyone asks, that's the only reason I joined.. :)
