Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Are children welcomed?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

Our wedding is a Grand Celestial Celebration in which we tie our matrimony with the first full moon on a Friday in the year 2023. The full moon symbolizes the completion of a journey, abundance, fertility, and transformation into something new. We planned the evening completion, fertility, abundance, and transformation. The wedding will have many celestial motifs and whimsical pieces.

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

As soon as possible, the deadline is April 14th.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will be taking place in the Terrace room of the Holiday Inn, Countryside hotel as well as the reception.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held indoors. Weather permits, we will be taking photos outside of the ceremony room, which is outdoors. We wanted our guests to be comfortable throughout the day and not have to worry about coats while still having the ceremony on our special day.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the brides and party will be taking photos for about an hour. We ask the guest to return to their room or join us in photos for the hour while the ceremony room turns into the cocktail hour room. The brides will join everyone for cocktail hour before the reception.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled! We will be starting promptly at 5:00 pm CST.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

You will be able to park in the hotel parking lot free of charge.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Please visit out 'Travel' tab for our hotel blocks. We recommend the Holiday Inn, which is where the ceremony and the reception will be held. We do have a secondary hotel block at the Best Western Plus hotel, which is located in the same parking lot and a walk from the venue.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #SalSayIDo as well as #ANewRivERA so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

A week prior to the wedding, please contact your respective bride for more information. The week of May 1st, any questions can be directed at the mothers of the brides.

Question

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

There is no need since the ceremony and reception are located at the hotel. The brides will not be able to provide transportation. Please plan ahead if you need assistance with transportation to the venue.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We advise guests to arrive between 4:00 pm CST and 4:45 pm CST. This will give you plenty of time to freshen up and prepare for a fun evening.
