Alexandra met Veronica in May 2019 after meeting online for some casual dating. When Alexandra took the South Shore train in to meet Veronica, she had no idea that she'd be meeting the most important person of her life. From there, the two had dinner and stayed up late talking and laughing, getting to know each other. The following day, Veronica took Alexandra to a Cubs Game in true Chicago fashion. However, neither knew how freezing it would be and Alexandra does not do cold. But they stayed till the Cubs went into overtime. At this point, Alexandra couldn't handle it anymore and asked if they could go somewhere warm. They had dinner while Alexandra waited for her train to arrive. In true chivalry and not wanting to leave Alexandra's side, she offered to drive her home. Eventually, Alexandra agreed and they both traveled to South Bend for the night. From there, Veronica was so wonderfully kind and sweet, Alexandra wanted to see her more. It turned into a careful yet strong romance. They are on their way to happily ever after with their two cats and the wedding day fastly approaching.
