Mikaela is the younger sister of Alexandra. They grew up together playing Legend of Zelda, swimming in their parent's pool and overall just being sisters. Both grew up loving to sing, dance and be creative. They are thick as thieves and Mikaela is Alexandra's Maid-of-honor.
Luisa Vences

Luisa is one of Veronica's closest friends. They met a few years ago at Superior Ambulance, where Veronica trained Luisa after a long shift. The two started picking up shifts and became fast friends. Luisa joins the wedding party as Veronica's Maid of Honor.
Stefanie Cabana
Bridesmaid
Stefanie has been in Alexandra’s life since elementary school and became ‘Seesters’ in middle school. They can be frequently seen together sharing a bottle of wine and jalapeno poppers. Stefanie joins the wedding party as a bridesmaid and to this day, Stefanie still the ‘boss of the applesauce’.
Amanda Rivera

Amanda is the younger sister of Veronica. Amanda and Veronica grew up watching Spice Girls the Movie, Girl Scouts and looking out for each other. Amanda has blessed Veronica with a nephew, Jonathan Jr, and a niece, Jayla, whom Veronica loves tremendously. Amanda joins the wedding party as a bridesmaid.
Joseph Myers

Joseph is one of Alexandra's closest friends. They met their very first week of college at Manchester College (now University). The first thing Lexi (Alexandra) said to Joseph was, "I don't want to be friends with you because I don't want to be looking up for the next four years." It's been over 10 years. Joseph joins the wedding party as a bridesman.

Joanna and Veronica were an unlikely pair that became and stayed best friends throughout the years. Joanna became a part of the Rivera family, often being called the third daughter. Joanna's son, Jules, is the ring bearer. Joanna joins the wedding party as a bridesmaid.
Josh & Sarah Kapaun
Bridesman & Bridesmaid
Josh and Sarah Kapaun met Alexandra many years ago at a game night. The two began inviting Alexandra over more for events and soon the trio was often found at Chicago's Comic Con. Sarah and Josh have adopted Alexandra into their family as a 'little sister'. Both Josh and Sarah join the wedding party as Bridesman & Bridesmaid.
Oscar Gonzalez

Veronica and Oscar met at Superior Ambulance. They began picking up shifts together and became very close friends and soon partners. Oscar is considered a little brother to the trio of Veronica, Luisa, and Oscar and always has something funny to say. Oscar's best trait is that he is the guy who will do anything for a friend, a real 'go-to' guy. Oscar joins the wedding as a bridesman.
Stephanie Watson

Stephanie and Alexandra met within the first month of college and became good friends. During sophomore year, they stepped it up a notch and moved in as roommates. Through out college and past graduation, Stephanie and Alexandra have continued to maintain a strong relationship. From going to the movies at midnight, catching lunch or having an impromptu sleep over, Stephanie and Alexandra have remained strong friends. Stephanie joins the wedding party as a bridesmaid.
Natalie Hendericks

Natalie and Veronica are cousins by blood but friends by choice. Natalie was the first person in the extended family to meet Alexandra and quickly told Veronica that she was the one. Veronica considers Natalie to be an older sister and often turns to her for advise or a great time. They grew up spending a lot of weekends together and making memories. Natalie joins the wedding as a Bridesmaid.
Juan Velazquez

Veronica and Juan met and formed a bond while working at O'Hare airport together. They found each other for being the goofiest, most outrageous employees around the runway. They attend concerts together, including Tori Kelly, Ariana Grande, Amy Schumer, and Beyonce. Juan joins the wedding party as a Bridesman.
Jules Fernandez

Jules, also known as Juice, is a sweet and affectionate young man. He is rambunctious, caring, kind, and silly. He is currently very into learning about the planets, his top three being Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars. He joins the wedding party as a ring bearer and is son to Joanna Jasinska.
Jayla Moraton
Flower Girl
Jayla is the youngest daughter of Amanda. She is intelligent, goofy, clever, and overall the Princess of the house. While she is the niece of Veronica, Jayla, and Alexandra hold a special bond. She loves Baby Shark and once you get her do do do, do do do-doing the song, it suddenly becomes catchy again. Jayla joins the wedding party as a Flower Girl.
Vida Moraton

Vida is an awesome three year old! She's fun, loving, caring, and outgoing. She makes sure all are included in the fun and she puts a smile on everyone's faces. Vida enjoys singing and coloring in her free time. She is the niece to Amanda but they haven't stopped her from stealing everyone's heart and being apart of the family. She's her mommy, Vanessa's, big helper in the kitchen and helps by cleaning her plate. Vida loves a good bedtime story to end her day. Vida joins the wedding party as a Flower Girl.

Angelina is the daughter of Natalie. She is a very shy girl, but bright and silly. She has a big imagination and loves to be a pretty pink Princess. Angelina enjoys the finer things in life, like homemade crafts with her mommy, playing with her dogs, or helping her father around the house. Angelina joins the wedding party as a Flower Girl.
Jonathan Jr. Moraton

Jonathan Jr, JJ, is the nephew of Veronica and the son of Amanda. His dream is to grow up and become a Baseball star. JJ is currently in 2nd grade and loves being a part of the Math Club. JJ and Alexandra bonded over their love of video games. The three spent many weekends glued to the tv, solving puzzles and kicking butt. JJ and Veronica hold a special bond, the true love an Aunt can give her Nephew. This close bond resulted in JJ joining the wedding party as the Jr. Bridesman. Veronica wanted JJ to have a specific special place in the wedding, just like he is in her heart.
Michael & Antoinette Salcedo
Father and Mother of the Bride
Almost 35 years ago, Michael met Antoinette at their apartment pool on the roof and the rest is history. Shortly after their union, they did the best thing they ever did and gave birth to the Bride, Alexandra. Michael is a podiatrist in Alexandra's hometown of South Bend, Indiana. Michael taught Alexandra how to fly fish, an activity they both share together still. He also is known for cloning Alexandra because people on the street have stopped Alexandra, asking if she knows Dr. Salcedo. Michael is the father of the bride, Alexandra. Antoinette runs Michaels's podiatrist business as the office manager and overall runner of the practice. Antoinette and Alexandra share a love of movies and try to tell each other first that a celebrity has passed. Antoinette taught Alexandra her first Beatles song, "If I Fell" and nurtured Alexandra to be a kind and magical individual. Antoinette is the mother of the bride to Alexandra.
Apariso & Lourdes Rivera

Apariso and Lourdes met 32 years ago at a party. The two soon tied the knot and did another fantastic and wonderful thing and gave birth to Veronica. Apariso, Jr, is an ex-marine and former firefighter captain. He is known for being a really handy guy around the house. He is all about family and has been the captain in many beautiful home improvement projects that help make the Rivera family's house a home. He is grandpa to Jonathan Jr, and Jayla and overall a really stand-up guy. Lourdes has never met a stranger, nor had trouble making friends. She works at the Department of Human Services as a Spanish caseworker. Lourdes is the chief of the family and promises to make your favorite meal for your birthday. Lourdes was always there for Veronica when Apariso's job kept him away, cheering for the both of them. Veronica and Lourdes are very goofy with each other, frequently quoting movie lines together or a silly inside mother-and-daughter joke. Lourdes is the mother of the bride, Veronica.
Alexandra Salcedo

Alexandra is a 31-year-old baddy with a booty. She was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana, and loves her two cats, Zarina and Ophelia. Alexandra has had a strong obsession with her nails for close to 15 years, and will be seen sporting unique nails during the ceremony. Alexandra loves all things fantasy, often playing Legend of Zelda or reading about a world that doesn't exist in this realm. Alexandra proposed to Veronica on March 18th, 2023, starting with the movies and lunch. They were 'conveniently' downtown and Alexandra asked Veronica if they could go to the first place where they said I love you, to each other. While in 25° weather, Alexandra and Veronica walked to the Chicago Lakeshore, to the stone wall looking out at the lake. The sky was dark on one side and sunny on the other. With Alexandra's phone propped up, Alexandra requested Veronica play, "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of you" by Frankie Valli. As the trumpets began their signature cadence, Alexandra sang to Veronica, slipped the black box from her coat sleeve, and fell on one knee. She asked, "Will you marry me this time?" And Veronica responded with, "Are you serious right now!?" Followed by an excited, "Yes!" Make sure you ask to see Veronica's ring if you ever see her!
Veronica Rivera

Veronica is a 31-year-old class clown. Veronica is always looking to make someone laugh and smile, just so she can show off her brilliant smile. : ) Veronica is currently working at a plasma center as the building's Physician's substitute and enjoys the work. Veronica can often be seen singing to Bad Bunny or dancing in her tiburón costume. Veronica proposed to Alexandra on August 14th, 2021. Shortly after Alexandra and Veronica moved in together to Wheeling, Illinois, Alexandra's parents and sister came into the city to meet the potential future-in-laws. The Salcedos came in on August 13th, where they shared dinner at Buca di Beppo with the Riveras. It was the beginning of a new family. The following day, Veronica left for her parents early, while the Salcedos now with Alexandra, spent the day together. That evening, the family of four, for over 30 years, traveled into the city to a surprise 30th birthday for Alexandra. What turned into more of a surprise, was a video Veronica had put together. In the end, the chest music in Legend of Zelda played, and Veronica opened a box to a 3D printed triforce (also from Legend of Zelda). Veronica poured her heart out to Alexandra and got on one knee, asking, "Will you marry me?" Alexandra immediately said, "Yes!" At that moment began their engagement. The remainder of the night was spent partying and enjoying friends who hadn't been seen since before Covid. It was a birthday nor an engagement party, anyone would forget.
Tito Torres

Tito is the husband to Veronica's Aunt MaryBeth. Veronica is proud to say that she brought Tito into the family by setting her Aunt up on a dating site. Soon, Tito and MaryBeth fell in love and became part of the family. Tito works at O'Hare and is important to his team. Ever since Tito came into the family, he has been involved with Veronica and has given a kind helping hand whenever she needs it. Tito is generous with his time, kind with his words, and compassionate with his love. He joins the wedding party as the Officiant.
