We recommend out of town guests fly into St. Louis, rent a car, and drive ~2-hours to Marion, IL. You can also fly into Marion's Veterans Airport of Southern Illinois via layover at Chicago O'Hare.

Chicago Union Station to Carbondale

Amtrak offers two trains per day between Chicago's Union Station and Carbondale, IL. Upon arrival in Carbondale, the Uber to Marion is ~30-minutes drive. Typical Train Times: Chicago to Carbondale Depart at 8:15 am --> Arrive at at 1:45 pm Depart at 4:05 pm --> Arrive at 9:35 pm Typical Train Times: Carbondale to Chicago Depart at 7:30 am --> Arrive at 1:00 pm Depart at 4:15 pm --> Arrive at 9:45 pm
