Can I bring kids to the wedding?

Answer

Of course! We are a kid friendly wedding and would love for them to share in our big day!!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

In order to have an intimate ceremony we are only inviting a select few and that information will be included in the formal invitations. We love you all and would really appreciate our friends and extended family if they would join us after the ceremony at our reception! Thank you for understanding our reasons and respecting our wishes!!

Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception will be held at Maggie Creek Ranch just south of Elko. It is right off of Hunter Exit 292!

What should I wear?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable so dress as you wish! if you want to dress up with the wedding party than we would love that but don't feel obligated to change out of those jeans!!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Because it is Elko and it is also October, we aren't sure what the weather will be like. Please plan on wearing layers that you can add if you are cold but can take off when needed. We have planned for our reception be inside a covered arena so it will probably get fairly warm.

Where do we park?

Answer

Parking will be clearly labeled but we will be parking in a lot to the north of the covered arena!

What time should we arrive?

Answer

We are planning on the Reception starting at 4pm but you are welcome to come and to leave whenever you please! For those invited to the ceremony, please show up 15-30 minutes early in order to find be seated before the ceremony begins.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony/post on social media?

Answer

You are more than welcome to take pictures during the ceremony and reception. Please make sure to not have your flash on during the ceremony as we will have both a videographer and photographer taking footage as well. You can also post the pictures on social media, just make sure to tag us or use the hashtag #RitchieWithLove2020

What happens between the ceremony and reception?

We will be doing pictures with our wedding party and family so please have patience with the time between. There will be some games set up for those who arrive early!

What food will be served and what if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

We are going to be having a buffet style dinner and so we hope that we will have enough options to accommodate any dietary restrictions. If it is something you are worried about, please call or text Alex when you RSVP so we can make a plan together!

What time is the reception scheduled to end?

Answer

Due to our venue rules, we ask that everyone is ready to go by 10 PM. Our Venue is a working Ranch with livestock and so they have given us a curfew. For our party animals, because we are in Nevada we have no doubt that you will be able to find a place to keep the party going!

Are there any colors you would prefer me not to wear?

Answer

Nope!! Our wedding colors are Navy and Sage, but anyone is welcome to wear what they please.

Are there other wedding events I’m invited to?

Answer

There will be a bridal party and a brunch the day after the wedding. We will let you know when those are planned and what time and place they will be!
