The Battery is in the heart of the San Francisco Financial District, 8 min walk from BART/MUNI Embarcadero Station. The taxi/Uber ride from the airport will take ~45 minutes. There is usually parking available on the nearby streets.

Flight
SFO
SFO and Oakland are both close to the city, though with SFO you avoid the Bay Bridge and can take BART directly into SF.
Rental Car
Wouldn't recommend but all the usual options exist
Renting a car in San Francisco is somewhat painful because of steep hills and expensive parking. Uber/Lift is much easier and the Battery is in the part of the city with good public transport options (BART or MUNI).

The venue is 8 min walk from the Embarcadero Station (BART and MUNI). We live near the 24th&Mission BART Station, just 5 stops from the venue.

MUNI is a train and bus system that covers much of the city. The closest stop to the Battery is Embarcadero Station.
