We recommend arriving at least 20-30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for parking and seating.

Yes, Avoca Museum offers ample on‑site parking for all guests. You can park in either the gravel lot or the parking field adjacent to the venue. Signs and venue attendants will help direct you when you arrive—no fuss or stress!

Is the ceremony/reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception will be held outdoors at the beautiful Avoca Museum. The ceremony will take place on the lawn, and the reception will be under a covered pavilion tent—so come ready to enjoy the fresh air and scenery!

Is there a dress code?

Garden party attire! Think semi-formal, light pastels, and comfortable shoes for outdoor walking.

While we love your children, our wedding will be an adult-only affair (21+). We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation includes a plus-one, absolutely! Otherwise, we kindly ask that you attend solo so we can keep our guest list intimate.

Can we use our phones during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests remain unplugged during the ceremony. We have a wonderful photographer and videographer who will capture everything, so you won’t need to worry about taking pictures or videos yourself.

Will there be alcohol at the reception?

Answer

No, our wedding will be a dry celebration. We will not be serving or providing any alcohol, but we hope you’ll still join us for a joyful and memorable evening!
