In September of 2016, Alexandra was working at Google in Mountain View when her favorite co-worker convinced her to download Bumble to meet eligible Bay Area men and get her "out of her rut." He did some swiping early on for her and came across Robb. Luckily, Robb caught his eye and he swiped right. At the time, Robb was coaching football at Corona Del Mar HS and they were playing a game in Los Gatos. Robb says he was only on the app for that one weekend to "meet some chicks" with his fellow coaches. Yeah, right. Anyways...little did he know he swiped right on his future wife. In fact, in their first conversation, Napa Valley and wine were at the heart of the chat and are still at the heart of their relationship. After ghosting Robb for a few days after he told her he did not live in San Francisco, and turning him into an afterthought, Alexandra was caught by surprise. Robb sent her a "double message" expressing his keen interest and fancy of her and asking her to keep an open mind. Alexandra gave Robb her phone number. Obviously. After a month or so of getting to know each other via text and phone calls, Robb told Alexandra that he wanted to take her out for a night on the town. So he booked a flight to San Francisco and took Alexandra on the most epic first date. Just ask her! (he wrote that) After Robb left town, Alexandra wasn't convinced she'd ever see Robb again. But, and if you know Robb and his persistence, he persisted in his interest in Alexandra and their undeniable bond. Their love story quickly unfolded over many miles and one visit turned into another which turned into another and then another. After 5 years of dating, Robb (finally) proposed at their favorite park in Corona Del Mar. Thanks to Bumble, the best is yet to come!!
