Ponce City Market (designed by the same firm as Chelsea Market) offers a range of restaurants, shops and bars with a beautiful view from the rooftop! Take a walk from here down the Beltline (similar to NYC's Highline) for a pedestrian trail lined with more restaurants and bars! This portion of the trail ends at Krog Street Market and right into Inman Park neighborhood. Couple of favorite spots include Lady Bird, Victory Sandwich Bar, and a mano. There many other great options listed here (discoveratlanta.com/stories/eat/best-restaurants-on-the-atlanta-beltline/)
A favorite spot for Alexandra's cousins visiting Atlanta during Thanksgiving - this is a fun and interactive museum on the history of Coca-Cola! It's located on Centennial Olympic Park and right next to the GA Aquarium
Take a walk around Midtown Atlanta's park and explore the next door botanical gardens! Great place to grab a picnic from nearby Trader Joe's or use as a launch place to explore Atlanta's Virginia Highlands Neighborhood! A couple of highlights at the park and nearby include, Park Tavern, Woody's Cheesesteaks, Bulla GastroPub or a short walk away for Murphy's for lunch or Moe's & Joe's for a dive bar!
Close to the wedding festivities, Buckhead Villages includes a number of shops, restaurants, bars and, for those inclined, a Barry's workout studio! Some personal favorites to check out are Le Colonial, Taverna Italian and Fado's Irish Pub (spot of the Friday night drinks!) Nearby, we'd also recommend Anis, Fellini's pizza, and La Fonda Mexican
Another recent development in Atlanta is the West Midtown neighborhood! Close to Buckhead, there are a number of good bars, restaurants and shops. Some favorite spots are Taqueria del Sol, West Egg Cafe, Hayakawa Sushi, Northside Tavern Ormsby's, and Five Daughters Bakery.
