Alex & Pat met on St. Patrick's Day downtown Chicago after partying hopping all day separately and ended up at the same apartment to end the day.

After celebrating Alex's birthday all weekend, Pat asked Alex to be his girlfriend a few hours after this photo was taken

They went to so many weddings together over the next 3 years, but this wedding resulted in the first public social media post of them as a couple

They took their first vacation as a couple to Spain

Came back from that trip, and went to more weddings

A lot happened in between but then they adopted Phoebe and she took over their entire lives but Alex and Pat wouldn't have it any other way

Phoebe joined the Christmas Tree Lighting tradition (which they found out is actually not allowed, whoops!)

And then on St. Patrick's Day 2025, Pat proposed!

He took Alex to see the green river to do so, even though it was freezing and sleeting

Phoebe was obviously really excited her last name at the vet will also be changed to Guinane!

And now here we are! We can't wait to celebrate with all our favorite people :)
