Hotel

Populus

240 14th Street, Denver, CO 80202

A block of rooms has been reserved for wedding guests at The Populus (Esquire's 2025 Hotel of the Year). You can book using the Bass/Scott block via the link below. When the link opens, it defaults to a one-night stay from the 18th to the 19th. You can use the calendar icon in the bottom corner of the check-in and check-out windows to choose your desired length of stay. This is the hotel at which the shuttle for the wedding will arrive / drop-off. This doesn't mean you have to stay here, you'll just want to be cognizant of timing for the shuttles since they will leave promptly for the wedding at their designated departure time. We've provided other hotel suggestions below, if you choose to not stay at The Populus. Some fun facts about The Populus: ARCHITECTURE: An instantly recognizable symbol of Colorado, the Aspen tree (Populus Tremuloides) informed the hotel’s biophilic architecture and distinctive window shape, which draws from characteristic patterns found on the tree’s trunks. INTERIOR DESIGN: Populus’s interior took inspiration from being within nature, to create spaces that have a subtle beauty and sense of calm and surprise. ART: Just as Aspen trees interconnect through their roots to survive, resilient communities include artists, musicians, chefs, community builders, thought leaders, and environmentalists for mutual support. Their art collection, curated by environmentalist Katherine Homes, showcases artists who embrace this ethos, creating pieces that narrate our deep connection to each other and nature. SUPPORTING THE PLANET: For every night you stay at the hotel, The Populus plants a tree - via their One Night One Tree Program.

Flight

Denver Airport

The majority of you all will be flying in, which means your airport destination will be Denver International Airport. From NYC, LA, DMV, Miami, Dallas, Boston, Seattle, London, Amsterdam (and more places y'all are coming from) you should be able to find both reasonable non-stop and layover flights. Once you've arrived at DIA, you will have three ways of getting into Denver: 1.) the train from the airport to Union Station in downtown Denver 2.) an Uber to downtown Denver 3.) a car, if you're renting one for the weekend.

Train

A Line Train (Denver Airport -> Downtown Denver)

As mentioned, you can take a 37 minute ride from DIA to Downtown Denver via the A Line Train. It will drop you off at the historic Union Station (it costs $10.50 a person)

Rental Car

Denver International Airport (rental car companies)

24530 E 78th Ave, Denver, CO 80249

Via this link, you will find all the rental car companies operating out of DIA. Should you want to rent a car for the week so you can explore, you'll want to rent through one of these companies.
