Maid of Honor
Jules & Alex go wayyy back circa 2002. You may know her as “Alex’s little sister who could never get a word in because Alex was a child chatterbox”, but she couldn’t be happier to be putting her Type A tendencies to use as Maid of Honor (spreadsheets, itineraries, & to do lists, oh my!). If you see her at the wedding, conversation topics could include: New York Times crossword puzzles, hot dogs, how study abroad “changed her”, & cult documentaries
Bridesmaid
Emily & Alex met in college at a Sigma Alpha Iota social event and eventually became sisters in SAI! 🌹They continued to bond over books, movies, and yapping about the boys they liked, both of whom they ended up marrying. Hooray! Emily is so excited to be standing next to Alex on this most momentous occasion! Conversation starters include: books, board games, music, nerdy stuff, and women's self defense
Bridesmaid
Shelby & Alex met working at the public library, and it was friendship at first sight! They bonded over a shared love of reading, music, and language learning. At the wedding, ask her about musicals, what she's reading, or the latest documentary she's obsessed with!
Bridesmaid
Micky & Alex met waaay back in middle school, bonding over a love of musicals, books, and baking! Over the years and across many states, they have stayed in touch over the phone, and each time they talk, it feels like no time has passed. Micky is honored to support Alex on a day they've dreamed about for more than a decade. If you run into her at the wedding, she loves to talk about dance, crochet, and her cat, Phoenix.
Bridesmaid
Sammy & Alex were lucky enough to meet through the dazzling and crazy world of middle school musical theatre productions and choir! Singing and dancing through numbers, Alex took Sammy under her wing and she is so excited to celebrate this next "musical number" in Alex's life! If you see her at the wedding, feel free to chat with her about all things architecture, favorite dance styles & musicals, what she should bake for next week's office treats, and where to travel to next.
Best Man
James met Nick back in the winter of 2017 at a restaurant called O'Asian Fusion. They quickly became friends and had many drinks, karaoke sessions, and dinners at a place that became their regular spot for their last years at OU. Their friendship has grown and solidified over the bonds they've created. They've been through life changing moments together from hardships to cherished memories. Nick has always had James's back and James wants him to know he always has his. Nick is a diamond in the rough and Alex is the lucky lady that managed to find him. She's a wonderful woman and James couldn't be happier for the bride and groom. He knows there are many more adventures and memories to be made and he's happy to be a part of their journey and story. If you run into the best man, ask him about traveling, music/karaoke/concerts, and how he spends his time.
Groomsman
Nick Cotto's first other half...No kidding we dressed as each other for twin day in high school and people couldn't really tell us apart! Angelo is happy Nick found a life partner because his boy really needed some softness in his life. If you see him at the wedding, he will challenge anyone who is brave enough to a dance battle or 200IM (your choice!) Conversation topics: The Fall of Constantinople, Christianity, Count Basie, and why Coca-Cola is just hazardous waste soda.
Groomsman
Davon & Nick go all the way back to the summer of 2014 where they met as coworkers at Freddy's. From there, their friendship grew through music, travel, and video games. Davon knows how good of a guy Nick is and Alex is the luckiest girl in the world. He wishes nothing but happiness to two people he's happy to call friends. If you see him at the wedding conversation topics include anything from sports, travel, foor, or the time he played background for Hugh Jackman.
Groomsman
Rob and Nick go way back to the Marching/Jazz Band days, and both have an affinity for saxophones. Rob and Nick are good friends and have kept in touch over the years with their mutual enjoyment of video games and good conversation. Rob enjoys the country life living in the small town of Iola, TX where he spends his time outside hunting, fishing, and shooting. He currently has aspirations to get his pilot's license. If you see him, Rob is willing to talk to absolutely anyone about whiskey or firearms.
Groomsman
Nick & Krishna met as sophomores at the University of Oklahoma, where they were randomly roomed together. They stuck together. Since then, they've been through ups & downs. They threw their first bomber college party together! From singing and eating their way through O Asian Fusion to going on a last minute road trip to New Mexico, they have been through a lot and Krishna can say Nick has always been there for him to lighten the mood and cheer him up. He remembers when Nick first told him about Alex and how "scared" he was because he saw a glimpse of the future with her. He's glad that he encouraged him to pursue his fear because it's what caused the creation of this dynamic duo getting married. If you see him at the wedding, conversation topics include: hiking, anime, leadership, psychology, and video games.
