We recommend venturing away from River Street towards Savannah's squares! Two of our favorites are Lafayette Square and Madison Square. Over by these squares, you can see all of the old houses and architecture that Savannah has to offer. Perfect additions to stop on the way are Jones Street, the Basillica, and Books on Bay.
Our favorite book store in Savannah! There is a huge selection of vintage and unique books.
Jones Street is known as the prettiest street in Savannah! It is only a few streets over from the Basillica and Lafayette Square. It is a perfect addition if you plan on taking a walking tour of Savannah's squares.
Right next to Lafayette Square!
A perfect stop on the way to grab a cocktail at Peregrin or Artillery. Closes at dusk though, so make sure to stop here first!

Get the fried rice.... and if you're feeling brave, the wasabi martini is amazing.
No frills Southern dining with historical memorabilia.
Midcentury-modern decor sets the stage for trendy cocktails & an eclectic array of American eats. Right next to Artillery if you want a post-dinner cocktail.
