We have decided to work with a Cleveland based company known as "Driftwood Catering," which operates multiple venues in Cleveland. Unfortunately we are unable to use our wedding ceremony & reception venue, "Cibreo Privato," for our pre-wedding activities, so we will use a different location nearby. All bridal party members and their respective plus ones will meet at the Welcome Event location at 6pm for a brief rehearsal. Then, immediately following in the same location, the Welcome Event dinner will begin for all guests, 6:30pm-9pm. Event location TBA!
Great question! I specifically selected October 11, since it falls on the Sunday before Columbus Day. October is peak wedding time, so I took advantage of this holiday weekend. As a suggestion, guests might wish to travel on Saturday, Oct 10, then travel back home on Monday, Oct 12, which is Columbus Day. Some companies offer Columbus Day off to their employees. Please keep in mind that the Welcome Event dinner will begin on Saturday, Oct 10, 6pm. If you would like to take advantage of all Cleveland has to offer, Alex & Mitch highly recommend flying in sooner to see the sights and maybe catch a Broadway style matinee or start your weekend at Cedar Point!
Another great question! Mitch and I have drifted all over the US since we are a military family, but our family primarily lives on the East Coast. Cleveland was the perfect middle ground. We hope you'll love this city as much as we do! GO BUCKEYES!
Legally, yes. Mitch and I tied the knot on July 26, 2025, in our backyard in NV. We would still like to celebrate with our close family and friends. Thanks for supporting us!
