Alex and Max met while they were both living in North Carolina. In September of 2023, their first date was at Yard House with their roommates, Brittney and JJ. Over the next several months, they spent their time together going to the beach, listening to live music at North Hills nights, and hanging out with friends and family together. A few months later, Max moved to Tacoma, Washington to pursue a job opportunity in the United States Army, and their relationship turned into a long-distance one. For 15 months, they learned how to love each other across miles, busy schedules, and time apart. In the middle of it all, they found that no matter where they were, home was always being together. In March of 2025, Alex moved to Tacoma and they got to start their life side by side. On August 12, 2025, during a beautiful sunset at Owen Beach, Max asked Alex to marry him and of course she said yes. Now, surrounded by family and friends, they’re so excited to begin their forever together.
