We actually went to school together starting in 4th grade, but did not truly hang out until Junior year of high school. We went to prom together "as friends" Junior year, but did not start dating until Freshmen year of college while Alex was home on break. We take our relationship at our own speed if you can't tell, so after 12 years of dating, we are making it official and getting married!

We like to take long weekends to drive up to the Adirondacks where Alex's father's family is from. This has become a place where we get to enjoy nature, family time and always cocktail hour with cheese and wine. On a trip in February 2024, Matt asked Alex to come over and check out a posing Finnley, and Matt was holding a ring while kneeling on one knee. Alex said yes, nearby her grandmother missed it and got a tearful recap.
