Strathcona Beach Park
If you are wanting to beat the heat while in Kelowna, Strathcona Beach Park is our favourite hang out spot all summer long.
Kelowna Farmers' and Crafters' Market (Saturday)
We love heading to the Kelowna Market on Saturday mornings in the summer. The market offers many different craft vendors and a handful of food and drink vendors! Alex's favourite is the fresh squeezed lemonade and Matthew's favourite is the bubble tea. The market opens at 8am!
Knox Mountain Park
If you are feeling adventurous, Knox Mountain has a handful of hiking and walking trails. The park also offers tennis courts and a disc golf area. We recommend getting there early in the morning to avoid the hot temperatures later in the day!
Waterfront Park
A leisurely stroll through Waterfront Park is a great way to end the evening. You can start from the Dolphins at the end of Sunset Drive and Water Street and meander through the park towards the heart of downtown. We love strolling through the park in the warmer months.
Local Farms
Check out some of the local farms in Kelowna off of Benvoulin Road (all within minutes of the wedding venue!) for the opportunity to purchase some Okanagan fruits and vegetables. Our favourite stops are K.L.O Farm Market on K.L.O Road, Hazeldell Orchards on Byrns Road, and Kelowna Fruit n Veggies on Cooper Road.
