Martin’s Tavern is the DC restaurant that we frequent the most, walking over after work or meeting up with friends for drinks. Mark particularly loves the restaurant for its history - it has hosted every US president from Harry S. Truman to George W. Bush, as well as other notable individuals. The Tavern's booth #3, known as "The Proposal Booth," is famously where John F. Kennedy proposed to Jacqueline Bouvier in 1953. You can find a photo of us sitting in booth #3 on the night of our engagement on the Gallery page of our website.
