Flight
About 9 miles from Waikiki, Daniel K. Inouye International Airport serves direct flights from Atlanta, Portland, and New York City. Austin and Oregon travelers typically connect through LA, Dallas, San Francisco, or Phoenix. Ride-shares and taxis reach the Royal Hawaiian in 20–30 minutes.
Hotel
The Pink Palace of the Pacific — and the heart of our wedding weekend. Built in 1927, the Royal Hawaiian is one of the most iconic hotels in the world: lush gardens, a legendary mai tai bar, and a beachfront setting that feels entirely apart from the Waikiki strip surrounding it. Staying here means you're steps from every event, with no logistics to think about. We'd love to have as many of you here as possible. Room block linked.
Hotel
Waikiki's oldest hotel, opened in 1901, sitting right next door to the Royal Hawaiian on the beach. The white colonial facade, the legendary Banyan Courtyard, and the ocean-facing verandas give it a timeless grace that pairs perfectly with the weekend. A wonderful option if the Royal Hawaiian is sold out.

Travel Note
Uber operates reliably across Honolulu and is the easiest way to get between the airport, Waikiki, and anywhere else on the island. For getting around Waikiki itself, most destinations are walkable but Uber is a great option for dinner reservations, day trips to the North Shore, or the drive out to Ko Olina.
Travel Note
O'ahu has exceptional golf. The crown jewel is Wai'alae Country Club — the Sony Open course, designed by Seth Raynor in 1927 (the same year The Royal Hawaiian opened), a par-70 with 83 bunkers, trade wind drama, and one of the most iconic layouts in the Pacific. It's a private club, so access requires a member referral from your home club. For resort golf, Ko Olina Golf Club (45 min west) is the most polished option on the island — immaculate fairways, waterfalls, and ocean glimpses throughout. For something wilder, the Arnold Palmer Course at Turtle Bay on the North Shore (1 hour north) winds through wetlands and coastal landscape with wind and water on nearly every hole. Make a full day of it — lunch at Lei Lei's and a drive along the North Shore on the way back.
