Where should I stay?

Answer

The Renaissance Hotel will be our main block for the wedding weekend. There is a restaurant/bar downstairs in the hotel and a salt water pool on an upper floor. Perfect location in the heart of downtown Charleston! The Meeting Street Inn is our secondary block, as the Renaissance cannot guarantee availability for all wedding guests. It is a short 7 minute walk to the Renaissance, and is a great boutique hotel with a unique Charleston vibe!

Do I need to rent a car if I’m staying in downtown Charleston?

Answer

This is personal preference based on age, agility, and cost. However, most people, will find that Charleston is a very manageable city to walk around. You can also Uber/rent bikes if you are going longer distances. If you are not staying downtown, you will need a car (whether it’s Uber or rented) to get downtown.

What is there to do in Charleston?

Answer

Most guests will have some down time in between wedding festivities! We encourage you to explore Charleston whether you have been before or not! Every time we visit, there are new spots/restaurants opening up to try! The food scene is amazing, there’s lots of history, and sites to see during your stay!!! Please take a look at the “Things to Do” page for all recommendations!
